Ubisoft will also offer a “Loot-a-Thon,” challenging players to collect one billion gold coins from player-created castles. If they succeed, a new boss named Lord Marleybone (“boss of the Glimmering Valley region, giant bone puppeteer and master of the dead”) will be unlocked for all players.
This marks the third Open House for Mighty Quest, following two similar events in July. Ubisoft reports that 71 million gold coins were plundered in the first event, increasing to 498 million in the second.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is currently in closed beta, with signups available on Ubisoft’s site. For more on Mighty Quest, be sure to read our hands-on impressions, and look out for more in the weeks to come.
