The patch will solve issues with frequent client crashes, which have also affected the console versions of Battlefield 4, as well as camera issues when crouching, vehicle issues on specific maps, a bug that changes victory conditions in Defuse mode, and corrupted save files.
"We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game – it is absolutely our #1 priority," EA told IGN last week. "The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game."
EA has no specific date announced for further updates, saying that they have been "rescheduled for a later date" following testing. Problems were also encountered when players tried joining servers dedicated to last week's China Rising DLC pack, which is thought to have caused even more problems with EA's flagship shooter.
