According to Sammobile, Samsung is gearing up to formally announce the Galaxy S IV on March 15th. Word on the street is that the latest addition to Samsung’s Galaxy family will be available in European and Asian markets in April, with America, Africa, Australia seeing release dates in May and June. Though details of the launch have been kept under wraps, it’s likely that we will have more concrete information within the next few weeks, as Samsung might be holding off on official details until the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at the end of the month.
The Galaxy S IV's rumored 5-inch 440ppi Super AMOLED HD display would make it Samsung’s most impressive to date. The device is also reportedly armed with and Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU, Mali-T658 (8-Core) GPU, 2GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP front facing camera. The Galaxy S IV is also likely to ship with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
