OS x mountain lion
The gaming hub for iphone and ipad now comes to you MAC! Game Center allows you to play with friends online, compare achievments "points" and add Friends!
Just sign in to your iCloud account(HOW MANY ACCOUNTS DO I NEED!!!) to access your documents in the cloud. As wells as you Game Center profile, reminders, notes, and all sorts of other gay ass apps you may have! This works on all platforms that is made by Apple so your shit will all ways be updated!
Like icloud it only requaires a single sign up. (really another one!) From the Notification pane you can update your status, stalk your friends updated profile, ande even add all your friends personal info to your contact list!
Which is basically an integrated Growl solution for Mac OS x. Includes Twitter notification and Facebook integration. Meaning you'll have less windows to flip through at any given time!
YAY!!!! its time fore a good ol power nap! Power Nap is a new feature we all saw coming soon, and i guess soon is this JULY! Today when your mac takes a little snooze it has no dreams it just kinda sits there like a piece of shit. Well with Power Nap it can update your Documents and integrates-apps, and make backups with TIME MACHINE! so you don't have to do it well your working. ( That's either Lazy or gives you less work to do) While it updates in this mode your computer won't wake up and no fans will activate which means you can have a good nights sleep!
No this is not that woman that tells us what to do, it really just allows you to yell at your computer to type up word documents. then you can yell at it even more when it does the wrong "there" Apple also annouced that it will work with Microsoft Word so you can tell that Apple tries to play nice with PC users! (haha not really, damn Apple Fan Boys!)
OS X Mountain Lion will be available in the Mac App Store for just $19.99 this July ( That's pretty cheap considering Windows is normally $100 something!)
Siri will now give more contextual information when they search for information in certain categories like sports, movies, and resaurants. When asking for a New York Yankee score the game's final result is listed as well as a complete box stats report. (also tells you that the Yankee's are the best baseball team) When searching for something good to eat, Yelp reviews are now integrated into the search results, and you can quickly make reservations via Open Table.
New language support for Canadian English(EHHHH!) Spanish dialects for Spain, Mexico, and the Untited States. Italian, Korean, Cantonese, and Mandarin are also supported in iOS6.
You can now also launch apps directly from Siri (but the question is will it even understand me!!!)
Just like on the Mac, ios 6 get FaceBook integration. Users can type in there Facebook username and password and your iOS device will remeber that and you'll never have to sign with it on any other APP. iPhone users can now post status updates directly to FAcebook from within Photos, Game Center, Maps, Notification Center and more.
You can now Like Apps from within the APP store!
DO NOT DISTURB
Apple finally realized that the iPhone is actually a phone (it only took them 5 phones and ten "s" phones to realize this)
So when someone calls you, you can now send a "quick text" saying your in a meeting. Owners can also set themselves "remind me later" notifications when recieving a phone call. The Reminder can be set to a length of time, or can be set to go off when the user exits the building.
The Do Not Disturb function when turned on allows no phone calls, texts, or other notifications won't light up or vibrate your phone in anyway. You can also set some numbers to always ring even when this feature is on. Its like AirPlane mode but more advanced!
FaceTime will now be available over 3G networks! Apple announced that users will be able to sync their mobile phone number and their Apple ID. This just means users receiving a Face Time call request will be able to answer with their iPad or their desktop computer.
A brand new app that features more location-aware wizardy, Passbook acts a virtual ticket holder, storing airplane tickets, movie tickets, store gift cars, etc.. The only thing that sucks is that Passbook only works with supported services.
With location aware, your movie ticket will automatically pop up on your phone when you enter the theater so its ready to be scanned. Also if your flight changes gates at the airport your phone will automatically let you know. (That's kinda cool)
A powerful set of New App controls. Example when you let your little one play with your phone (why on Earth would you do such a thing the phone is so expensive!) You can disable certain Apps so the kid won't see them or be able to use them. You can also lock an App so it is impossible to go back to the home screen!
iOS 6 will have a new mapping application. ( I guess Google is hating on Apple now, how dare they)
Now includes Siri-powered turn by turn navigation is also built into the new maps. Offically saying goodbye tou your once useful GPS (wait whats this Garmin GPS??) Maps features realtime traffic data which can re-route drivers past areas of heavy traffic.
You can now take a fun birds eye few with the new "Flyover" feature with cities like San Francisco and Sydney.
OVER 200 Features
Apple promises that iOS 6 will launch with over 200 features!
iOS 6 will support the iPhone #GS and later as well as second and third generation iPads. iOS 6 is due out later this FALL!
Thats all the "great" shit that Apple came out with this year. So you better like it or suck it up and thats not coming from me thats coming from APPLE!!! (yeah just kidding its coming from me, but APPLE was thinking it!)
